Sites were analyzed, and scored according to the criteria developed by the committee. Final results were given to the Selectmen.
Feasibility Study & Architectural Review
An architect was hired to determine feasibility on the primary sites selected. When a front-runner emerged, his firm produced an analysis to determine rough cost and produce sample floor plans and elevations.
Selectmen Presentation & Approval of Concept
In March of 2017, the Media Department presented the accumulated data on site selection to the Tyngsborough Board of Selectmen. They agreed with the site selection of 120 Westford Road provided that the Recreation Department had a viable space to move into.
