It’s official: Tyngsborough TV is now Tyngsborough Media.
Same mission. New logo!
As of March 1, 2023 Tyngsborough TV is now Tyngsborough Media. We're happy to continue to serve our community. We are Tyngsborough Media. pic.twitter.com/nwp8MGK9ML— Tyngsborough Media (@TyngMedia) March 1, 2023
The programming and brand transition happened on March 1 at Midnight.
This change is part of the department’s rebranding efforts over the past year to showcase that the department is not just on local cable television but other platforms, including online, Over The Top appliances (Roku, Amazon Firestick, Apple TV), and mobile.
As part of recent capital hardware upgrades in FY23, the Tyngsborough Media Department is positioned to reach all constituents on-air and online.
The rebrand also reflects on the local cable broadcast output carrying the Public, Education, and Government channels.
Tyngsborough Government (Verizon 29 | Comcast 8)
This channel will continue offering local, regional/state meetings related to the community.
Tyngsborough Public (Verizon 30 | Comcast Ch. TBD)
This channel will offer local, regional, and nationally syndicated programming from City Life, Classic Arts Showcase, Democracy Now, Washington Post, Free Speech TV, and NASA TV and serve as an overflow/simulcast of the Government channel. We are also working on launching this channel on Comcast soon.
We are excited to announce an unique free exclusive redistribution partnership with the Washington Post for breaking news and special events. We’ve carried Washington Post TV anchored coverage on the Public Access Channel in recent months—for instance, The State of The Union Address and the January 6th Congressional Hearings.
Tyngsborough Media is always looking for local content creators to fill your airwaves. So please send them our way or if you’re interested — come talk to us.
Tyngsborough Education (Verizon 28 | Comcast 99)
We will continue air meetings from Tyngsborough Public /Greater Lowell Technical HS School Committees and any content they produce.
Here are some other things to look forward to with the rebrand:
