The recycling center at the DPW on Kendall Road has seen an increase of illegal dumping, CCTV video will be used to identify and fine responsible individuals. Residents are reminded to use this center appropriately.
Over the last month, the Town has seen a dramatic increase in the number of items illegally or improperly dumped at the Recycling Center at the DPW on Kendall Road. This site is provided to help reduce curbside collection, remove contaminants from the trash stream, and promote proper recycling. While the site is available to residents 24/7, it is also under 24/7 video surveillance with new equipment that will allow the Tyngsborough Police to capture license plates of individuals who are illegally dumping at the site.
Repeated misuse of the site is costly and continued abuse may result in the need for additional restrictions on the site as well as eliminating services offered.
Residents are reminded to visit the Recycling Center page to familiarize themselves with what they can and cannot leave at the site.
Please be a good neighbor and only leave appropriate and proper items in the various drop off locations.
