Tyngsborough Civic Leadership Academy – 2025

The Town Manager’s Office and Tyngsborough Media are excited to announce the second round of the Tyngsborough Civic Leadership Academy, set to run from August 13 through October 15, 2025. This engaging program aims to give Tyngsborough residents a deeper understanding of their local government, encourage future participation in town boards and committees, foster greater community involvement, and build stronger relationships with Town government.

The 10-week program will take place every Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., beginning August 13 and concluding on October 15, 2025. Graduation will occur on October 21, 2025, during the Special Town Meeting. Classes will be hosted at various locations across Tyngsborough, with details to be provided as the syllabus is finalized.

• Overview of Tyngsborough's local governance structure

• Municipal finance and budgeting

• Community Services

• Land Use

• Public Safety

• Public Works

• Elections & Town Meeting Procedures

• Education

Applications for the program are due by noon on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Residents can apply online by clicking here. Preference will be given to applicants who have not previously served on a Town board or committee.

All applicants will be notified of their admission status after the application period ends.
