Each year, the Select Board and Town Manager's Office collaborate on a set of goals for the upcoming fiscal year. These goals are a mix of long-term and short-term goals and the Board and Town Manager review the goals at least quarterly to track progress.
For Fiscal Year 2026 (FY26), the Board also decided to include a section on values that is intended to guide decisions both at the Board level and at the Town Manager & department head level. Each member provided their own goals and values and the Board reviewed and adopted the goals at their meeting on Monday, August 18th. You can review the goals at the link below.
The Town Manager will provide regular updates to the Select Board, typically quarterly, and updates will be posted to the Select Board page. Additionally, at their meeting on September 8th, the Town Manager will present the Board with a proposed work plan for each goal to show a path toward achieving short-term goals and chipping away at long-term goals.
